We are honoured to be hosting Jodi for the UK leg of her tour. Jodi is an Australian musician with an international reputation, but even though she is touring her latest album across the globe she is keen to use intimate venues that suit the ambience of her neo-romantic chamber folk-pop music.

This tour is in support of Jodi Phillis’ fifth solo offering, Becoming. This is an album that has a strong feminine energy about it – melodic, full of rich textures – an intimate piece of work that explores loss, love, and life – delivered with a real sense of drama and romance. (Listen below)

Sure to be a magical evening of high quality music. Early bird tickets of £10 are available until September 22nd (full price £12) - book now to avoid disappointment.
About Jodi Phillis
Jodi Phillis is an ARIA nominated singer/songwriter/composer/artist who first made her mark on the Australian cultural landscape with alt-rock band The Clouds, who formed in 1989.
Jodi has forged a parallel career as an independent, influential solo singer/songwriter, producing five critically acclaimed albums under her own name.
Jodi also formed and released albums with The Dearhunters, Roger Loves Betty, and The Glamma Rays.
For her latest independent solo release ‘Becoming’, Jodi has returned to her default mode of singer songwriter, mining the deep seam of neo-romantic chamber folk-pop.

Successfully crowdfunded and produced by Tim Oxley, Becoming is an acoustic, intimate account of grief and it’s fallout. Real life is flipped inside out, shaken up and transformed into vintage filtered songs that celebrate life and love and the quest to find meaning in a broken world.
Becoming will evoke cherished memories, childhood day dreams, and visions of a longed for utopia while urging the listener to follow their bliss.
Jodi’s live performances are raw and heartfelt, idiosyncratic and warm. Her expressive voice and deeply personal lyrics engage listeners everywhere.
In September and October of 2019, Jodi will make her way around the globe playing intimate performances in venues, record stores and private homes.
Starting in Los Angeles then New York, Paris, Berlin, Positano, Hampshire, London, Dublin and more, this is sure to be a transformational journey for Jodi and all those who attend her shows.
Jodi is based on the South Coast of NSW, Australia.
